About the Initiative

Green Community Initiative is a community-driven initiative designed to create a model sustainable neighbourhood.

It is a bottom-up approach of a participatory planning process that defines the community’s long-term goals and objectives. It aims to steer the neighbourhood towards a sustainable future by creating a comprehensive vision on how the community wants the neighborhood to grow and prosper in the future.

The Initiative provides a platform for residents to voice their concerns collectively, which is then conveyed to concerned government authorities. It focuses on creating community awareness on issues of walkability, health, safety and the environment.
